Have you ever seen a nagging man? A man who nags and complains about everything, terrible right? That is how you are if you have bad attitude. Being a boss does not mean you should yell at everyone because you pay them. No! A leader should be understanding, a leader should make people go along with him, he does not make decisions on his own. Why most bosses are so bossy is because they take decisions without considering the feelings of their workers. Such decisions might be unfavourable to the workers. Everyone should be carried along in every decision makings. Where there is peace and love, there is certainly unity, everyone will work successfully without giving complaints. But when the whole atmosphere is so unbearable and tensed, you get to see the hell that exist in people. Be friendly to get a better result, get to know people, know what motivates and what irritate them. I get to know people through their behaviours, when I meet a person, I can tell who that people is without being told. I know who they are through their conversations. I read and study people, maybe it is a gift, I don't know. I can tell when things are not normal or someone is mentally ill. It takes serious observers to know these things and most bosses are not observers.
Like a mother knows her children by voice and name, know your workers, know their capabilities and weaknesses. Know whom to go to when there is a particular crisis in office. Know how to resolve conflict. Now yelling won't resolve conflict, making people's heart jump won't resolve conflict, even not talking about it won't resolve it too.
