You Are a Product of People's Little Effort, Appreciate Them

Oftentimes, most people become great and successful, then they start chanting, 'self made' are you really self made? I'm yet to see someone who is confident enough to say that he or she is really self made without having to fall back to people. When I hear people tag themselves, 'self made' I see set of selfish beings who decide to close their doors so others can't go through it. I'm yet to see a man who has accomplished success on it own. You are great, really really great, but someone some time and somewhere made you great. God didn't have to come down through the physical, He passed through a person or persons to bless you. You wouldn't be a great writer without a reader, likewise an author, you wouldn't be best selling author without readers. You can't be a great pastor without congregations, who would you preach to? You can't be a teacher without a student or students. You can't be a known Doctor if you don't have patients to attend to. In one way or the other, you need people to build you up, console you, support you, be your companion, be your friend, give you money or make you popular and make your life meaningful. A celebrity would need fans in order to be known and still be in business, a business man would need customers so business can flow. It all drives down to people. They are the reasons why our dreams, aspirations and career did not die young. We are all product of people's little effort. You can't make it on your own. No one is self made, appreciate those whose little effort made you successful today. I know we are in a world where everyone is selfish, don't glorify yourself alone, acknowledge those who supported you. You may think it is nothing, but it is something. Give a shout out to those who had sleepless nights because of you. Thank your teachers greatly, their efforts made you great. A man is not an island, you would need people, if not now but someday.
