Capitalization

For a neat writing, every sentence must begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop.

Example:

Joy is a girl.

This simple sentence begins with a name of a person in capital letter and ends with a full stop. A full stop shows the end of a sentence. In writing, words that must start with capital letters are;

1. Name of a person
2. Name of a place 
3. Days of the week and months
4. A word starting a sentence 
5. Names of animals etc 

To have an orderly and presentable writeup, all t's must be crossed and all i's must be dotted. You can decide to write your titles using block letters, that is all capital letters or you might decide to capitalized the initial letters of words. Capitalization can also be used to show emphasis in a writeup like poems. It creates effect and capture the mind.
