Today was fun and I learnt a lot too. Early in the day, I attended a seminar called, 'The Career Day' organised by The Bridge Leadership Foundation annually for young people to build them up and to enable them discover their potentials. I wished such programmes were organised every day because I learnt from it immensely. I got to hear people's life experiences, their setbacks and lot more. I love listening to stories just as I love writing stories too from my experiences. If there were no classrooms, I would still be a good learner. I read books both hard and soft copies. I download interesting stuff and read them later. It helps. I go to www.wiki.how to read their articles and various write ups. Also, I visit quora.com to read answers to questions asked by people. These answers are from trained and experienced people from various works of life and fields. I read online often times.
The seminar was impacting, it theme was: Technology and Innovations. The speaker said so much which I can't exhaust it all here. They talked about the technological and digital skills needed in the third world and why it won't decay even in the future. They moved further to the jobs that won't be relevant any more in the future. Such skills are; persuasion, problem solving, basic communication skills, empathy and creativity. This skills won't die because it will still be relevant to people in future. They said so much, I can't tell it all. Apart from learning, I saw new faces and made new friends.
