The Principle of Sowing and Reaping

Blessed are those who sow in tears, for they shall reap abundantly. Most people see sowing and reaping as karma, some call it nemesis but sowing and reaping is not just limited to this angle, it means more. Sowing is a period of hard labour, a period of toiling and planting. Sowing is the season where one is still growing. A period before transformation. Just like in agriculture, where farmers plants seeds and roots like; beans, maize, yam, water leaf and vegetables, putting water and manure everyday in it so as to germinate and grow, so is our sowing season.

You can't plant rice and harvest yam, no it is not possible, you reap what you sowed. It is so sadden that this days, most people want to reap where they did not sow. They want to take credit for another man's sweat and hard labour. You can't reap where you did not sow, you must work for it.

The reaping and harvest time is always so sweet because everyone looks forward to it. They just want to harvest without planting. Little wonder why people sneak into people's farms and harvest yams they did not plant. Free food is sweet, stolen bread is the sweetest. Some people don't even dream of suffering, even in their dreams, they get free and quick money they did not labour for without finding out the source of the money. They wait for ready-made things, relax and lazy around and wait for someone they make a prey.

You must start from somewhere even if it is small. You can't continue looking for a high paying job while you starve of food. Begin with the ones you see first and start something from there. In arithmetics, you first count one before two. You won't just finish school and land a higher pay job at a go. Some are lucky, but what if same opportunity doesn't reach you?

Start small, beginning small does not mean your life ends there. You just need to start from somewhere small to a higher position.
