There is dignity in labour

There is joy in having your own money, working hard for it. People respect you when you earn money legitimately and can fend for yourself. Even if it just peanut you can earn for yourself, you will be happy. There is just this joy you feel when you have your own money. I can't explain it. Even if you're given a huge money, it won't give you much joy than they money you worked hard for, a low paying job is better than being lazy and feed my people. You're a slave to the people you depend on. You will be taken advantage of because a begger has no choice. Gradually, the get tired of helping you. Though, they might not speak up, but their actions speaks. Then, you know it is time to stand up for yourself. Time to do something even if its small.
