I hardly see a Father-in-law rebel against his Daughter-in-law.
I hardly see a Stepfather rebel against his Stepdaughter.
I see alot of Mother-in-laws rebel against their Daughter-in-laws.
I see alot of Stepmothers rebel against their Stepdaughters and likewise.
What is our problem women?
A woman will always be the first to bash her fellow woman for being childless - barren, for being unmarried, for having a failed marriage or unstable home. They will mock her if she is a house wife and does not have money, they will mock her for being an old unmarried maiden, they will still mock her if she is married and her husband can't take care of her. They will go ahead to mock her if she is not as tush as them and can't talk or mingle with them as well.
To a woman, her damn society is her fellow woman. She is bodyshame for being too fat. If she is fat, they talk. If she is too slim, they say, " She no dey see food chop." Is a woman that will sleep with her friend's husband and feels so good about it. Men don't really have issues. The only problem they have is being a terrible father and bad husbands, which some are trying to work on. I don't see much envy, jealousy, hate and gossip in men like the women. To a woman her fellow woman is a threat to her - her enemy. She will try all possible best to frustrate her fellow woman through her words, gestures and deeds.
We are our own problem, women. Until we love ourselves and stay at peace with one another, regarding our fellow woman as important just as ourselves, we will not get the equity we seek for. No matter who you are; a house wife, a working class, married, unmarried, please let's love. They equity we should seek for is LOVE.
