Contentment is key. Just being satisfied with what you have and not longering for me especially when you are not financially buoyant is the best feeling in the world because you have peace, you won't owe debt and can sleep like a baby without anyone knocking on your door for his or her debt. Sometimes we get into difficult and hard times just because we spent money to please people instead of using it to get our needs. I watched a movie one day. It is titled, "Liars and Pretenders". The movie so touched my soul, since I'm the soft type, I wept. There was a woman who had things going well for her. A good husband, a peaceful home and a monthly paying job though the pay was little. She made friends with two women who were living fake lives. One of her friend is a house wife, married to a rich man. The other lady was sacked from work with her husband who works with an oil company few months after their wedding. They two ladies were both jobless but were living a high. They both spoilt the mind of the lady who had a good husband. They made her request for more money from the husband. The husband's job wasn't paying well though. They had to manage and all that. At the end, their fake life was exposed. I just had to praise God who didn't allow the woman to spoil her marriage because of her friend's fake lives and big mouth. Spend and enjoy the money if you have. If you don't have and your salary can't afford that, please be contented. Don't copy anyone's lifestyle. At the end, you owe the debt and pay the bills.
