For you to embrace the future firmly, you must bury the past. Your past could have been stormy, a bad situation, a life of sorrow, hurts, pains, betrayals from friends and others. You must bury your past and move on. Stop mourning over some failed love, you need to carry yourself up and move on. If someone can't treat you right or give you the love you deserve, then it is time to move on. Move on from every abusive relationship, toxic people and people who get scared of your success because it threatens them. I know it is not easy to move on and let the past go, the memories keeps playing back in your thoughts but surely, you will get healed someday. A time will come when you won't feel those hurts anymore. Pains don't last forever. I know temptations abound, people will always use one's past to humble or humiliate the person. So as to cause a fall or heartbreaks. Never mind this set of people, flee away from them if possible. Flee away from people who keeps reminding you of your ugly past, it is as living in your past. You need to accept your past, those mistakes you did but it doesn't mean you should keep dwelling in the past.
