If you have a mother, please respect her. Many people go through life without feeling the warmth of a mother. Last week I went to my friend's place, that wasn't my first visitation. I saw a little girl, a year and a half or two years probably. She was walking around the veranda with a top on her and without shoes. Just looking for who to carry her. When I looked into her eye, I saw a worried baby, a baby trying to be strong. I drew her closer to myself and carried her, her temperature was so high. She wasn't feeling fine I guess and those taking care of her didn't really mind. I had to plead with my friend to give her food. She gave her food and some medications. I felt pity for the baby. I remember the first time I visited, I saw her eating food by herself. I asked those taking care of her if she could eat by herself, they told me, yes she eats. The eating of food no be here o. She was just drinking water and couldn't ball the garri well with the soup. When she cries, nobody cares. I feel for the girl. If she had a mother, life wouldn't be tough for her.
From this little girl's experience, I pictured the life of the motherless Children, not so easy for them. Especially those under the care of those who don't really mind.
To those blessed with mothers, respect your mother. They are the reason for your survival, and not dieing young.
