Everyone is deeply happy to see a new year, so many never thought of seeing 2019 but here are we rejoicing over a new year. As the year begins, alot have made plans, written down goals of what to achieve, what to do and what not to do. It's a good thing though many end up not achieving any and some achieve just one thing. Before going on with the new year resolution, here are the things to do to have a happy and fulfilled year.

1  Accept God into your life as your personal saviour. He does good things to people.

2  Love : Love God, love yourself, love your neighbours, love your wife, love your husband, love your children, love your coworkers, love your stepchildren, love your maid, love the people working under you. Give out love.

3. Stop hating : Hate is such a burden. It's toxic to the body.

4. Stop envy, jealousy and unnecessary comparison : Don't envy anyone because God blessed them before you. Stop comparing yourself to others, you are not their Grace mate but may be Age mate. There is time for everyone. The world is wide enough for everyone to succeed. If God blesses your Sister/Brother before you, don't feel bad. Wait for your turn. Life is turn by turn they say.

5. Respect your elders and those higher than you in rank.

6. Never rush, you may make mistakes that may not be easily corrected.

7. Pray

8. If you have the resources, help the poor, needy and those who have no one to look after them.

9. Stop competing. You will not be fulfilled.

10. Love your family. Good men are known when people see their wife and children.

11. Take care of your home. It tells alot about you.

12. Make good friends and value them.

13. Be good to people, they will save you someday in life. Not necessarily your family.

14. Make a promise and keep to it, else don't make it.

15. If you fail, please try again. Don't kill yourself over it.

16. Smile always

17. Don't be the reason for someone's sorrow.

18. Never use your big position to put people in bondage. You won't be big forever.

19. When you go to the market, don't throw stones, it may hit your sister.

21. Be humble
