LIVE YOUR DREAMS
In a world where dreams are discouraged, live your dreams. Don't let anyone discourage you or look down on you. Don't listen to the negativity of others which will make you not achieve anything. Sometimes you don't really have to tell people your wishes or goals, just show them and prove their negativity wrong. Don't let people speak into your ear, " This is too big for you or you are too small and don't deserve such dreams or such goals". I know it's a good thing to share your dreams with family and friends but be careful of negative people because they have a way of discouraging one and making them useless. I read about a girl whose friends said she won't ever win a beauty pageantry because of her smallish structure and not being so beautiful. They discouraged her in and out but today she is a Queen, not once or twice but for the fourth time. If she had listen to them, she won't have been what she is today. The success of your dreams doesn't matter if you are short, too tall, slim etc it doesn't even matter if you are from a poor home or rich home. All that matters is the effort you put in achieving your goals.
No dreams is unachievable, it may look difficult at first but with time it can be achieved. Some takes a longer time while some takes a short time. But no matter how long it may take you to achieve them, don't just give up. Perservance is the key. If you fail at achieving a thing or a goal, never give up. Always try and try again. If you failed a test, an examination, never give up...try again until impossibilities become possible. People didn't get to the top overnight, they all started from somewhere. Somewhere small until they got to the mighty position which they are today. There is also no shortcut to success. If there was one, I think everyone would be successful and very rich. Therefore one needs to sacrifice, to pay a price, a price of hardwork in order to get what he or she want. Like the celebrities today, there were times people didn't know them, just like you. They paid the price of hardwork to be where they are now. For you to live and achieve your goals, you must be hardworking.
As you live your dreams, have a good attitude. Just like it is said that " a bad attitude is like a flat tyre, it takes you no where " so is the achievement of our dreams. A bad attitude like pride will make you unable to achieve a goal. Why? Because pride can't let a person take corrections, amend his ways and grow. Pride, Ego and Arrogancy are the enemies of success, of dreams and can never allow one to grow. Be humble enough to take corrections, to learn, to apologize and to give honour and respect to whom it is due.
Also, in living your dreams, there is need for connectivity. Connect with people, get a mentor, have a social circle. Connect and make friends with people who share the same goal as you. Connect with positive people, great minds and those who will help you grow. No body is an island. You can not achieve a goal or dreams in isolation, you must get to meet new people. People who inspired and educate. This alone can change your life around.
