Sometimes I don't blame girls who desire rich husbands. You know why? Because most men aren't loyal. You stay with them when there is nothing, once they start making it, the forget those who made them something, they forget their wives just as it is said that the true character of a man is shown when he has money and power. Because they have made it, they neglect their wives and families. They run after young girl and become their god and everyone's Father Christmas. They stop giving their wife money and the poor woman will be wearing one dirty cloth while the husband is flexing with money and girls.
I went for a field trip some months ago, during my few month there, a woman was always lamenting how she suffered and managed with her husband in a one room apartment. They had no money then, she sacrificed everything for the husband. Now that the husband is rich, he left her for a young girl and married the girl. Maybe she wasn't his class anymore hence the separation. All her efforts were wasted. The only thing that saved her was her education. She went to school and she is financially stable. Another one, a woman finished her College of Education, got a job then the husband wasn't working. She used her salary to sponsor her husband in school. Since the man was the head of the family, she wanted him to go to school. She sponsored him till his Masters degree. He later left the woman when he got a job and obtained his Ph.D. She would have just used her salary to further her studies but did what she did out of love not doing that she will someday not be his class again.
I know not all men are terrible but this days I have learnt never to judge one's choices because I don't know what the person has gone through. Most girls don't want to experience the heartbreak of being with someone who won't appreciate her efforts. Why didn't he neglect the wife in times of poverty, why now that he is rich? You see a guy calling a girl a gold-digger just because she desires a rich husband. She is not a gold-digger, she is avoiding heartbreak. Remember when a poor man gets rich overnight, it makes them mad.
